Geewealth Online Shop does not engage in logistics, delivery or shipping. However, there are some logistics companies that partner with us to dispatch products from sellers/vendors to buyers/customers and the payment for the delivery is determined by both buyer and seller.
For a dispatch within Lagos, some bikers dispatch between 1,000NGN to 5,000NGN base on some factors such as size, weight, distance etc.
For delivery outside Lagos, seller or buy can use any of the popular logistic companies.
Who Caters for Shipping/Delivery Fee?
Some sellers/vendors offer some products at free delivery/shipping as they have factored in the delivery fees into the total cost of the product, while for some, the delivery cost is shared. Whichever form it will take, seller should determine this and ensure that it reflects on the product published, perhaps, in the description or other sections.
Time frame for product delivery/shipping
For delivery within Lagos, delivery timeframe is 1 to 3 working days,
For delivery within any part of Nigeria, delivery time is 3 to 10 working days and
For international shipping, it takes 1 – 6 weeks.
Delay in Delivery/Shipping
In a case where a buyer/customer doesn’t receive product within the stipulated timeframe, he or she should contact the seller/vendor to know the reason for delay of delivery, or notify us.
It is required for every vendor to pay a commission of 12% on every sale. See the breakdown below:
- 5% VAT
- 2% e-wallet charge
- 5% Admin charge that covers your store maintenance and sponsoring social media campaign.
To make this flexible for vendors, vendors should add 12% to the original price of their products before publishing.
Vendors/sellers are advised to use any of these methods to settle delivery/shipping charge:
Share the delivery charge if not free, or make buyer pay for delivery when product is delivered or Factoring delivery/shipping charge into the total cost of the product (if product is to be sold within a town or city). This communication should be clear between both parties.
Vendor are however advised to make their products very affordable as much as possible so as to get higher demand.
