Purpose of the job




To manage and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Job Description
• Study and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and set up requirements.
• Focus on the reliability of the operation and ensure that the production infrastructure is well maintained for long-term operation.




• Provide calculations for programming including the cutting list for the materials to be used
• Translates instructions into the CNC machine
• Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut
• Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests. Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives




• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Take ownership and accountability for the optimization of manufacturing processes, including continuous improvement, line balancing, and potential use of automation
• Planning and organizing production schedules, managing all production activities




• Maintaining all the machines in order to fulfill the production needs and ensure daily alignment on all tools of machines.
• Ensure periodically check on each machine to make sure the positioning of drills, mills, and lathes stays perfectly aligned.
• Develop a maintenance policy, procedures, and controls for all machinery
• Lead the organization’s commitment to quality and ensure quality products are built to Home and You standards for our customer

• Improve process capacity and production volume while maintain and improving quality standards
• Lead in the development of processes to support and increase the production Objectives
• Work with other relevant departments to coordinate materials and manpower planning for production

Requirement
• Good knowledge of the CNC machine
• Experience in the furniture manufacturing
